If something went wrong, we want to know. This page explains how to raise a concern about this website or about a provider you were connected with through it.
Complaints about this website or our service
Use the contact form and write "Complaint" in the message. Include the date, the city, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a few business days and tell you what we will do about them.
Complaints about a provider
Ventura County Pest Pros doesn't perform the work, so disputes about pricing, workmanship, scheduling, or damage are between you and the provider, under your agreement with it. We still want to hear about it:
- Contact the provider first. Put your concern in writing and keep copies of estimates, contracts, invoices, photos, and messages.
- Tell us. Let us know which provider it was and what happened. We look into concerns and may stop sending requests to providers who don't treat homeowners fairly.
- Use official channels if needed.
- Contractor licensing: the California Contractors State License Board accepts complaints about contractors, with or without a license, at cslb.ca.gov.
- Pest control and termite companies: the California Structural Pest Control Board licenses structural pest control companies and accepts consumer complaints at pestboard.ca.gov. Questions about pesticide use can also go to the Ventura County Agricultural Commissioner’s office.
- Insurance questions: the California Department of Insurance helps consumers with claim and insurer problems at insurance.ca.gov.
- Consumer protection: the Ventura County District Attorney's office and the California Department of Consumer Affairs provide consumer complaint resources.
- Emergencies: for anything unsafe, call 911 or your utility.
